  • HB 597- Homelessness: Revises, provides and deletes definitions; increases and revises membership on Council of Homelessness; removes members from obsolete organizations; creates Housing First program; provides components of program; provides that local continuum of care that adopt program be given funding priority; provides legislative findings and intent relating to young adults leaving foster care, etc.
  • HB 755- Water Conservation: Revises requirements for automatic landscape irrigation systems; provides the requirement for certain residential construction; requires licensed contractors to inspect such systems for compliance with specified requirements and ensure compliance before completing other work.
  • CS/HB 1269- Infant MortalityProvides legislative intent relating to black infant health practice initiative; provides for administration of initiative; requires local community to develop team to serve as part of statewide practice collaborative; requires healthy start coalitions to conduct case reviews; requires certain public universities or colleges to provide technical assistance, assist in determining certain criteria,  present findings and recommendations; requires DOH to distribute funding to coalitions; provides duties of coalitions; requires DOH to award grants & annually evaluate initiative; requires coalitions to submit reports to Governor, Legislature, & DOH; provides immunity from liability to participating coalitions; provides appropriation.
